FORKLIFT

REFRESHER TRAINING

There are two main types of Forklift trucks, Counterbalance and Reach trucks. All successful candidates will receive a valid Forklift driver certificate which is valid for 3 years.

ON COURSE COMPLETION OF THE REFRESHER COURSE ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Confidently operate a Forklift truck safely and in doing so reduce the risk of Injury to the operator and co-workers.
  • Display good safe operating driving skills.
  • Understanding of all relevant Legislation.
  • Load and unload safely.
  • Recharge and Refuel safely.
  • Safely handle awkward and wide loads.
  • Undertake all daily safety checks before operating the Forklift.

Courses are run on demand at the client premises 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

All currently certified drivers who have had adequate basic training, they should have been certified but now require their skills updating due to change in work practices or the purchase of new vehicles or evidence of a deterioration in operator performance.

  • LOCATION : CLIENTS PREMISES

COURSE OBJECTIVES

On successfully completion of the course participants will be able to confidently operate a forklift truck safely, and by doing so reduce the risk of injury to the operator and co-workers. 

REQUIREMENTS

Good comprehension of the English language.
